About J M Rodrigues

J M Rodrigues has spent much of his life fascinated by mysteries-especially the ones history never quite managed to solve.

A longtime law-enforcement investigator and lifelong reader of mystery and adventure, Rodrigues has always been drawn to the unanswered questions behind famous historical events.  Who was really responsible? What was overlooked? And what might we discover if we could examine the evidence again with everything we know today?

Those questions eventually inspired The Phoenix Investigations, a series that combines historical mysteries with modern investigative techniques, technology, adventure, and suspense.  At its heart, however, the series comes from something much simpler: a genuine love of a good mystery and the irresistible temptation to ask, "What if?"

Whether walking the streets of Victorian Whitechapel, searching for answers hidden in Dublin Castle, or looking beyond the walls of Alcatraz, Rodrigues writes the kinds of stories he has always loved to read-stories where history still has secrets waiting to be uncovered.
